For an easy clean‑out, try the hot water method:

Fill the jar with very hot water and a drop of dish soap. The heat softens the remaining wax, and it floats to the top as it cools. Once everything has cooled down, lift out the wax, pour out the water, and wipe the jar clean with a cloth or sponge.
