Our Story

Every candle begins with a story rooted in love, family, community and purpose.

Nora Candle Co. began in 2023 with curiosity, a little ambition and a lot of trial and error. Our name was inspired by my daughter, Nora—whose name means light—and my dream of building something meaningful, not only for today, but for my children’s future.

But somewhere along the way, our story became bigger than our own family.

Our community became part of Nora Candle Co. too. Customers shared their opinions, requested scents, gave honest feedback and came back market after market to see what we would create next. We listened, experimented and grew with them. Their ideas have influenced our scents, products and the way our candles have evolved.

That support also gave us the confidence to think beyond what a candle company is “supposed” to be. We started blending unexpected fragrances, offering different wick experiences and turning wax into creations.

Today, we’re still growing, experimenting and learning. And through all of it, I hope my children get to see firsthand that building something meaningful takes creativity, resilience, hard work and people who believe in what you’re doing.

Every candle that leaves our hands carries a little piece of that story.
